I moved with my family to Jacksonville 5 years ago
to start a business. In the last 5 years I have had the chance to meet many
people and have been fairly involved in the community. But all in all, it is not
enough. I can give more, as we all probably can. In thinking about how to give
more, I thought about my life, and what was really important to me.
I am thankful everyday for the fact that I have 3
amazing and wonderful children of my own. I think of all the wonderful time we
spend together, all the fun I have watching them grow and learn. When they get
sick, even with a cold or a tummy ache I just want to do anything I can to take
the hurt away. Every parent feels that way, but some children don't just have a
cold or tummy ache. My heart goes out to those little angels and their parents
that are looking for help and praying to take the pain away. I am not a doctor
and I can't take the pain away, but hopefully through raising awareness and
tugging at people's hearts, we can get together as a community to help these
parents and these children have something more. Have more hope, have more good days, have more laughter and more smiles
and a brighter future.
I decided to affiliate with Wolfson Children's Hospital
through our Wishes on Wheels program. The first goal is to try to get my
employees involved and the next is to try and get the community more involved.
We will not only be donating money to Wolfson Children's Hospital, but we will
also match a percentage of anyone's donation to them through our website. It is
my sincere hope that this becomes a long term program with Wolfson Children's
Hospital and that we have a tremendous impact on the lives of the many people
who need all of our help.
